Hendrickson Announces Expanded Steer Axle Coverage
WOODRIDGE, Ill. – Hendrickson Truck Commercial Vehicle Systems announces the expansion of its STEERTEK™ NXT portfolio of fabricated front steer axles to include 8K, 10K and 12K capacities for the medium duty truck and bus segments.
The 10k and 12k capacities will be available soon for the International® MV™ line of trucks and IC Bus® CE Series of school buses as optional equipment. Hendrickson’s proprietary design and manufacturing process saves weight compared to traditional I-beam axles while combining rigid strength, outstanding maneuverability, and reduced maintenance. As with the rest of the STEERTEK™ NXT portfolio, these new axles come with a best in class service interval and feature an exclusive 10-year, 1-million-mile warranty.
