This low weight option maintains the trailer at ride height during loading and unloading operations. When the trailer's parking brakes are set, a pair of supports automatically swing into place over the suspension beams, holding the trailer at ride height. When loading/unloading is complete, the trailer's parking brakes are released and the supports disengage. With high-strength steel construction, SURELOK is rugged, reliable and maintenance-free. SURELOK is currently available as an option on Hendrickson HK190T/230 and VANTRAAX Sliders. For trailer walk, Hendrickson offers two solutions: SURELOK and air exhaust (dump) valves. With the SURELOK supports in place during the loading/unloading process, the movement that contributes to trailer walk is minimized while the trailer ride height is maintained. With one of our automatic or manual dump valves in place, air can be exhausted from the air springs allowing the trailer to rest fully on the internal air spring bumpers. With the trailer resting on the internal air spring bumpers, the movement that contributes to trailer walk is prevented.
